STORY
George Tannous is known to many around the community for Caesar's and Georgio's. After moving on from Georgio's, Tannous decided to open George's Place.
''It is the same recipes I have had for years.''
New items include Mediterranean and Lebanese foods. The restaurant is featuring a lunch buffet as well as homemade meals. It has dinner specials every night. Tannous touts their steaks, cheeseburgers and Italian food, which they have been known for, for years. They also have a peach dessert pizza on the buffet, which is a local favorite.
''As far as the pizza is concerned, I am still using the same recipe that we started with 35 years ago.''
Tannous, who owns George's Place with his wife, Becky, continues to use the same quality of foods he always has.
''I do not serve anything I cannot eat,'' he said. ''I always want to serve the best, because it does make a big difference.''
